Sanskriti Annual Bridge Tournament 2008: Revised Venue/Date

In view of some logistics problems and keeping in mind the availability of most bridge players in the Washington-Baltimore area, this year's Sanskriti Annual Bridge Tournament will be held on Saturday, September 20 at the following address (Pulak Bera):

We are expecting a record number of participants this year - 32 ! All players are requested to arrive by 10 A.M. so that the games can be started at 10:30 A.M.
Please come on time and cooperate with the organizers. More details about logistics and the game will follow.

Direction -
From 270 take Shade Grove Exit - then left on Shady Grove - approx 7/8 minutes drive on Shady Grove Rd - then come to a Stop Sign (Not a stop light - that's the only stop sign shady grove rd has) - take right - then drive one mile or so come to a "T" junction TAKE LEFT - THAT IS TRAVILAH ROAD - APPROX 1.1 TO 1.2 MILES - 13759 ON THE LEFT - SEE ALSO MAPQUEST
Bridge Tournament Directors: Soumen De & Bimal Sinha
In case all rounds cannot be completed on Saturday,the tournament will continue on Sunday at 2 pm at the same place. As in previous years, this will be a team-of-four duplicate event with scores converted to IMP/VP. .
The tournament is open to all members of the Bengali Bridge community and
their friends. Lunch/soft drinks/tea/coffee will be provided at a moderate
charge.
Players of top two teams will be awarded prizes at the conclusion of the
event, and their names will be mentioned in Sanskriti website/announced
during Durga Puja.
All interested players are requested to send email to sinha@umbc.edu with cc
to Soumen. Please include your partner's name. Teams will be formed later.
